"Prim Blessings" Angel

I made this primitive style angel from a coffee and vanilla stained muslin and stuffed her with polyfil. Her face has a needle-sculpted nose and mouth and her body has been lightly sanded to give her a soft, aged appearance and feel. Her eyes are made of two tan buttons. She has white wool hair which is needle-felted to the top of her head. Her dress is made from tea-stained white cotton fabric and her wings are made from a vintage cutter quilt. She is holding a tied bunch of aromatic Sweet Annie in her hands. I have attached a jute string on her back to allow her to hang on a cupboard door or a peg shelf. She has no legs but can be posed in a sitting position on a shelf. Her hang tag reads "Prim Blessings".

Primitive "Beatrice" Bunny Doll

Primitive "Beatrice" Bunny was handmade by me using a pattern by Down River Primitives. Beatrice measures 19 1/2" from top of head to toe, and 23" from the fold of her ears to her toes. She is made from coffee and vanilla stained muslin. Her face is hand-stitched using embroidery floss. Her cheeks and ears are dry-brushed with barn red paint. Her dress is made of coordinating cotton prints in shades of lavender, cream and light gold. Her bloomers are made in the same gold print. She would make a great addition to your collection of primitive dolls, or for an Easter display. She is meant to be used for decoration only and is not recommended for children due to the buttons. She comes from my smoke-free, pet-free home.

Plain Sarah Prairie Doll

This adorable 17 inch prairie doll is made from a "You Are Special - Sarah's Star" pattern using tea-stained muslin and stuffed with Polyfil. She is dressed in a navy blue print dress topped with a muslin apron and bonnet which ties around her neck with jute string. A tea-stained muslin star embroidered with the year 1803 is attached to her hands. A loop is attached to the back of her head to allow her to hang on your wall, or she may be posed in a sitting position. Sarah is a "plain" doll - she has no facial features - only blushed cheeks. This doll is made in my smoke/pet free home.
